Love the reference to "life finds a way"! I wonder if the plant pots falling could be wind-related infrasound? I live in an edwardian house and the doors do vibrate in strong winds unless i close the windows fully/put draught excluders in front of doors. Doesn't explain the footsteps though.

It's the closest I've heard them get to a real argument! I tend to agree with David Yelland but understand why Simon Lewis might not want to be as trenchant.
