I would call A a "probabilistic sufficiency" cause od B: if A then probably B, which differs from a deterministic sufficiency cause (if A then always B) and a necessity cause (if not A tgen not B). See my paper on different causal perspectives here: www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...
