sehr fairer Artikel, @barbaratoth.bsky.social! Als Leiter des Instituts für Bibelwissenschaften und Historische Theologie würde ich nur ganz gern dazu ergänzen, dass die Einladung NICHT von der Fakultät kam, sondern von dem Forschungszentrum "RGKW".

German has strict rules on where you are and are not allowed to put commas. AND on how to hyphenate words at the end of a line. there are rules for everything. then there's the exceptions.

leider demütigt mich* Deutsch. the pronoun has to be closer to the verb than the noun. why? no-one knows. those are just the rules. madness.

(or just gospel bloopers like when Jesus realises he got the name of the High Priest wrong in Mark 2:26)
March 21, 2025 at 1:53 PM
I've just seen The Chosen puts bloopers on YouTube.
March 21, 2025 at 1:51 PM
is there a Jesus film with the bloopers/outtakes at the end? that'd be fun.

furthermore: 16 years after the publication of Ben Hur, Marie Corelli's "Barabbas: A Dream of the World's Tragedy" (1896) featured Melchior who befriends Barabbas and is with him at the crucifixion of Jesus.
