I am totally for all kids to have free internet at home. But, until that happens we provide an option. Plus. I don’t know where you live but where I am most libraries are funded through property taxes and our budgets are voted on by the community. It takes nothing away from other services.

It’s New York law. 1st degree murder here is only for certain circumstances : murder of Police officers, firefighters, correctional officers , emergency personal, witnesses. murder while committing a felony, murder of multiple people, terrorism. I think there may be others

Just downloaded an arc from eidelweiss. So excited to read. Librarians an booksellers need to form an arc book club. It’s so frustrating not being able to discuss a fantastic book that nobody can read for months.

I’m not saying I became a librarian because I had no more room on my bookshelves…but it is one of the perks.
