There has been a generations long attack on our national institutions by the wealthy. Mitch McConnell packing the Supreme Court with Right Wing hacks was a devastating blow to any form of accountability. That and the fact that Republicans no longer have even an atom of integrity left in them.

Absolutely should not be allowed. Why should they benefit from this. Maybe if our elected politicians didn’t have access to so many “perks”, many non-qualified people wouldn’t run for office.
