Last weekend was extreme as the stalled front dumped more than 7" of rain. It started with my phone alert going off in the middle of the night with "You are in the path of a tornado." Friday I think. Saturday my rain gage was full. Posting because the news doesn't seem to cover much.

Basket flowers in zone 6b on July 29th from direct sowed seed. Very good germination. 8" t0 10" tall, spindly, reblooming. Drought tollerant, but blooming stops.

Very useful for any zone. You just have to determine your last frost date and count the weeks backwards. I am zone 6b and just direct sowed peas and onions outside. 🌱

Currrent peg loom weaving. Raw wool on the left, then brushed with a dog brush, twisted onto the loom. Washed and finished product on the right.
