The best part is that taking him down was just a clash of a devil thinking himself fair and untouchable and a mortal willing to bet that he could trick a demon to humiliate him. And he did. His house completely robbed and desecrated while awaiting the devil himself to let him know he was vulnerable

- What makes BG3 decisions so interesting from player to player is that as a sign of complete hubris I signed my soul to Raphael intentionally to double cross him as I assumed something as serious as that would let his guard down. -

That is to say I got one of the good endings in such a chaotic and fucked up way which made it perfect.

Raven is such a complicated character before I converted him into a Tav as he was one of my DnD characters. Having someone with such a specific level of hubris to match Gale's with a high level of self awareness is so fascinating yo see play out when given options of power in game -

I think what made BG3 work so well for me is that I was able to successfully play a character that wasn't automatically treated as good / evil in a binary way from the choices I made in game -
