My favorite non-CoStar data set is the I-92/APIS data www.trade.gov/us-internati... which tracks international inbound/outbound travel flows. Here is my summary of that data for 2024. I assume that in 2025 the picture will stay pretty much the same.

Eight of the 10 hospitality submarkets in Los Angeles saw increased room demand, and six reported double-digit gains. The occupancy increases spiked Wednesday and Thursday last week and dissipated over the weekend as evacuation orders were lifted.
