I’ve thought this for some time as IMO he seems unable to report just the facts when it comes to the current govt. He’s always looking for a negative. Time for change at the BBC and also Sky News needs a change of personnel too, Sam Coates is the same.

Agree.
Do think we need a change in attitude to flats though. As a flat dweller (not London), there’s still a sense of disapproval from some when they hear you live in a flat, yet ours is modern, spacious, very fuel efficient & conveniently located. Flats in towns & cities abroad seem more accepted

Sam Coates spent more time talking about the cost of the actual enquiry & asking what Starmer is going to do about named Civil Servants, than the actual damning findings re Boris Johnson & his Govt & the probable excess number of deaths. Awful journalism (if you can even call his reporting that).

Agree. James O’Brien is the only one I listen too now. Don’t know what’s happened to LBC.
I also preferred it when the newsreader was Theo Usherwood as he seemed balanced in his reporting.
