Now here’s an email I was beginning to think I would never see.

Odd balls claiming that BlueSky is dead based off this data... This looks like a classic pull back after an event-driven sharp spike in new users, perfectly normal.

I feel so old

This is what I got.

In the post that is. I’m a simple man, if I see a @radiohead.wastehq.social art book, I buy it. And bonus belated #cassunday, I finally acquired OK Computer on cassette too.

#cassunday time… a new tape purchase from @theblackdog.bsky.social , but an album I’ve loved for years. I’ve used this album to calm me down on stressful flights multiple times. Nice little the promo postcard, reminds me of @pastpostcard.bsky.social

People on Bluesky realising some albums don't exist on streaming. Guys pls. Some of the best releases don't exist on anything beyond a single heavily scratched dubplate.

Its a big #cassunday for me. 29 years ago my copy of Mellon Collie got eaten by the shitty 70’s tape player I had as a teenager. Furious, I threw it away and started buying CDs. Now, I’ve finally bought this classic again… the thousands of CDs are all gone (well, nearly). The tapes are back.

We have a new contender for highest shipping cost on Bandcamp, from Aural Canyon. Is this part of Trumps tariffs?

I feel like I'm going a bit mad when you see everyone eat up AI artwork without question. Lost Tribe Sound have committed to this with a whopping 4CD/8 poster box set which physically must be an impressive artefact. But it's all just AI jargon. Is the music AI too?

The great thing about working from home is that I get to listen to A LOT of music. I don't use streaming, instead I have terabytes of FLAC files on a NAS using the Roon server software. Going to amuse myself by spending the next week going through the best (and worst) that I hoarded from 2005.
