31 years ago we lost 14 wildland firefighter on Storm King Mtn, CO. I knew 3 who died on that mountain that day. It touched all of us who fought wild fires. Please say a prayer for those on the line today

I was PIO on this fire7/1/12. It will be seared into my memory, the loss of 4 brave NC Air National Guard men. 3 survived. They crashed in the middle of the fire, it took so long to get to them. A prayer for the White Draw 4 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Learned how to properly deconstruct the flag today at my Daughters of American Revolution work day. You cut off Union (blue) then cut each stripe for the colonies then burn each separately telling the colonies story.
