This leaf beret is a recent crochet project I have been working on. The pattern was originally published in Hats and Bags, by the Spool Cotton Company in 1936. I used a variagated boucle cotton yarn, and the beret has extra shape and form by incoroporating millinery wire in the top edge of the design. A leaf motif completes this stylish hat.
