I stream on twitch! Come hang out with me!

Will it be any good? No idea, but it looks pretty similar to discord and functions pretty similar so if you wanna jump now then stoat might be it. I still have some things to figure out (like bots for auto-posting when I go live and such) but I have the app ready to go.

because why not take the payment for playing and streaming something you already have or do play and enjoy? just kind of a no brainer

I do think unfortunately these sponsorships will mainly be for mobile games or gacha games, if I see one for a game I've already played or enjoy playing I'll do it, but otherwise I'll likely not do these much... if they were for more games that I have or play, I'd do a lot more then

but the base pay being there is absolutely a great thing, it ensures you are doing sponsored stuff for atleast SOMETHING, even if you only ever get one viewer and they still don't participate in the sponsorship stuff

the two I will likely do would be Where Winds Meet since I've already played that a good bit and do enjoy the game somewhat and probably arknights endfield since it has a higher base pay and I do enjoy the game but don't like gacha since... well I can't afford to gacha obviously

base pay typically sits at $10 but I see it range from $5 to $20, and then there's the extra you get for things like in-game purchases which you get completely re-imbursed for plus a small payment for spending the minimum amount and the typical x amount of viewers doing whatever the sponsorship asks

*They love... damn you autocorrect

Simply because I wanna see them continue doing something that love at the very least, it's hard enough as is to even try to do something these days, so I admire those who do continue to do so in spite of other's hate or their own internal hate.

I may only know Kevin from their hololive games, but their games becoming so popular was because they were enjoyable games, not just because they were Hololive games. I may not be a fan of wanting to push a lot of buttons, but I'd probably buy the game if I had money to spare at some point.

Just do your best to ignore the metrics, else you begin going down the path all big corporations in the gaming industry have gone. These indie games are what I hope for, the passion projects, not the next "million dollar idea". Just focus on you for a bit, I'd hate to see you leave everything behind
February 3, 2026 at 3:10 AM
Best thing you can do is just make the things you enjoy which I do hope still is games like Holocure and Holo X Break even if those games aren't hololive based. You've made good stuff, so don't falter now, just take a break from the internet. Something more of us should probably do too.

I might not be a smart guy but maybe look at devs behind other games and what they've done. Much as I don't care for it anymore FNaF is a good example. Scott Cawthon made quite a few games before hand with nothing in response until miraculously FNaF just blew up, but not much else of his has since.
