Haha, the DLCs can be played separately then, but certainly the Night Springs story adds to the context of the overall AW2 story (I won't explain why but you can probably read afterwards, it involves Door)

It's actually worth it, and the DLCs are incorporated into the base game. I took a break for a few months and played New Game+, didn't regret it at all (despite my 1000+ game backlog)

Yes, they're both amazing. They're a bit different from the main game, but link in with the story (expanding on it without continuing it)
