This lil birdy fell out of my brush. Turns out it is the bird and plant favorite of a dear friend's late mother. Did I channel a departed spirit into paint? I certainly didnt intend to paint these.

Just finished this fun lil piece on upcycled wood. My version of the "Saffron Pickers" fresco from ancient #minoan culture. (Or at least 1800's reimaging of said culture) Oil, acrylic, latex paint. 51.5 in x 12.5 in #painting #oilpaint #upcycled #minoanfresco #arthurevens
