I don't like much really but what I do like, I love passionately. Just like stuff like jogging, music, ice cream, TV, travel, good times. Now my parkrun thread although I do other stuff.
Beautiful parkrun morning in the park. A cloth of gold and such lovely people around this week.

Riemer on Munich yesterday and Donaupark in Vienna this morning. The glory of parkrun, the adventures, new experiences and friendship. Perfect, I intend doing parkrun as a volunteer or runner until my dying day.

Did a parkrun today and it was simple with very few volunteers. All lovely people were, as the actual parkrunners, plus bumped into a guy who knows me from Manchester. Perfect morning.

Fantastic junior parkrun morning. Windy but no rain, super fast first finishers, fun and laughter, discarded coats, and a finisher with one shoe. 88 finishers, lots of smiles and just the best hour you can have as a volunteer.

10 km done, very warm but paced it better than I've ever done. Loved the crowds, lots of people seem to know me & I overtook a few I know. Took a few pictures for people & got a few selfies on their roll too. Nice middle of the day, with a wonderful junior parkrun start. Zoom in ⬇️ to see runners.

Finished last at parkrun and I a) loved it and b) felt great having a walk. And c) I was the tail walker.chatted with a guy called Glenn and it was nice to just talk for 5 km. Junior parkrun this morning, before the 10 km. As expected, a warm morning, and potentially, afternoon in Manchester.

80 junior parkrun nets this morning & we were bathed in sunshine. Lots of smiles & fun for all. The best bit, two regular junior parkrunners who pulled up beside my car as I was about to leave. They slept through their alarms but to run anyway even if it wasn't official. Great morning.

Beautiful parkrun morning. Not as fast as last week but still happy. Felt more in control & it was sunny with no breeze. Massive numbers as Heaton & Stretford were off, with the Alex Park volunteers keeping things perfect as usual. Jumped on scanning & scanned #736 so bigger than usual. Brilliant!

Slightly overcast, a bit windy but still a bit warm for the parkrun golden hour. Ran 22:07 and felt disappointed as I felt I had more. Short warm up, surprise anxiety so I know why I didn't perform. Sorted though, need more warm up with a relaxed outlook. Beautiful morning at junior. Swan included.

A brilliant Sunday in South Manchester. Lots of roads closed due to the marathon so an almost traffic free cycle to junior parkrun in Alex Park. Followed by the excitement of the faster runner coming through Stretford, then off to run the last leg of the relay. Signs from our workshop on Saturday.

It's going to be dull with a chance of rain showers for parkrun golden hour in South Manchester. Me? I'm looking forward to sunshine. Been in
Den Haag for a day or so looking at the things I like. Didn't book thinking of parkrun but might sneak one in tomorrow.

A beautiful junior parkrun morning. 52 participants, 20 volunteers in the end and lots of laughs. It's free, you know. Laughter and junior parkrun.

In London, in a pub, started talking about parkwalk. Just got a colleague to sign up because they can walk it. Taking here cousin too. Result.

Brilliant junior parkrun morning. 70 participants, lots of laughs and my high-5 hand almost feel off after so many hits. A real lovely vibe this morning, that combination of chatter, laughter and fun with lots of cheers as they finished. A junior dictated the finish message this week as I chalked.

It turned out there was no rain during the golden parkrun hour, it was so warm & sunny. Beautiful morning, sub-22 again but slower than last week. Jumped on barcodes after the run & scanned, for the stats fans, 106 barcodes. 1/2

Missed the St Patrick's Day parade, I will be excommunicated, but had a look around town, had a coffee at the People's History Museum and looked in clothes shops.

Still buzzing about my parkrun SB yesterday. Still chasing but keeping an eye on my health. Happy to break the top 350 too

Ace morning. 80 finishers At junior parkrun, DoE volunteers saving me with brilliant timekeeping and lovely weather. Fewer problems with adults through the finish funnel this week.

A long run with friends, I dropped off at 12 miles but they completed 15. Keeping the load up again, is helping.

More J. M. W. Turner at the Whitworth - In Light and Shade, Liber Studiorum. Plus Women In Revolt! Art and Activism in the UK, 1970 - 1990. Bobby Baker's 'An Edible Family in a Mobile Home', a recreation of the 1976 original. I ate part of the daughter, meringue, and had a nice cup of tea.

Beautiful, warm and fun Sunday morning at junior parkrun. 66 finishers, I was back in my usual marshal spot and I had the big green hand. Many hi-5s given, many smiles too.

It's been a busy old week, upped my mileage & since last Saturday's parkrun I've run every day. That's resulting in additional pain in the knees but I feel fitter.

Outlook for tomorrow continues to be good for South Manc parkruns but it is raining now. Woke to a bird singing in the tree outside.

It feels a bit like Peep Show episode when Super Hans ran to Windsor but I accidentally ran 15.5 miles on Sunday.

My mate is doing the Marathon & I asked if I could tag along, intending to run less than 10 miles. In true Super Hans fashion, now looking to run 17 this Sunday.

New favourite parkrun #5 Mura di Lucca.

Needed more cheese but a lovely experience and I've seen two mummified Saints since Thursday.

Maybe I am but where was this legend? Poor Peggy Snow, blooming runaway horses.

Fastest parkrun of the year, 40 seconds off last week's time. God bless you cheese toasties on a Friday for your contribution to this. The experiment continues so let's do it all again next week.

I hear Trumpton are pushing for a name change. For once, the people of Camberwick Green & Chigley are standing firm & United on this with their neighbours. No comment from Google about the proposed change to Hilaryton.
