That should be EVERY formula 1 race - let’s see who the best driver actually is 🤷‍♂️

Likewise, Venice during lockdown -dolphins in the grand canal …

Great album - although the cover is a nightmare in your record storage with that cut out section …!

No, just secure supervised bike parking instead of relying on cctv - which according to the article is a waste of money for preventing theft. Obvs may be useful for antisocial behaviour prevention but not where property security is concerned.

With regard to bike thefts and vehicle crime at stations - get rid of the electronic surveillance if it isn’t being used as intended - save *that* money - and it’s bound to be a lot, and go retro by employing an actual person or two instead - why not give it a go and see how it works 🤷🏼‍♂️

Thanks - love all the other 80s albums but this album has always felt like a misstep before parade - Looking forward to reappraising it 🙌

Obvs a worldwide issue - why DO fossil fuel companies get a virtual tax-free pass? Apparently, they’re quite profitable - or is that incorrect?
October 2, 2025 at 9:19 PM
Great singles, but never really got into it - what do people love on this?
October 2, 2025 at 8:44 PM
Ah…. Cheap energy - why didn’t we think of that 🤦‍♂️

It’s no.1 on my Halloween watch list - love that early 80s horror

Don’t know where that amazing hypocaust is, but the running joke with my partner is my continued genuine disappointment and sadness that we had central heating 2000 years ago, but it was then ‘lost’ - always feels like a genuine loss 😂

So looking forward to this - planet of evil is amazing - shame it doesn’t get the same love as other Tom baker classics like pyramids of mars or seeds of doom etc
September 28, 2025 at 5:41 PM
It is though, isn’t it 🤷🏼‍♂️
September 23, 2025 at 9:23 PM
Yup - it is good 👍
September 23, 2025 at 5:30 PM

Those are good dogs 🙌

Literally can’t watch ring of bright water because of that scene - love the book, and the film up to that point ….
August 21, 2025 at 7:58 PM
After remembering that time my iPod only had ‘Wild is the wind’ live at Glastonbury which lead to a very chilled 90 minute gym session, I’ll go for a nearby album, Low - STS’s 6 songs is just too short to listen to forever - even though it’s amazing 🤩

David Bowie
Depeche Mode
The Cure
Kate Bush
Fleet Foxes

Not really - you may want what you want - cars aren’t all interchangeable 🤷🏼‍♂️
August 13, 2025 at 11:11 PM
Thanks for organising, Bob - That was a great evening !

My greatest surprise is actually how relatively young they all were at time - GH was mid 40s and even Roy Orbison had only just turned 50 - even though he seemed ancient to my 15 year old eyes 😂
