Hangman and Naito fans are often compared and, I am firmly in that Venn diagram, but I couldn't muster up the rage I had in 2018 or 2019 on Saturday, when I was easily capable of experiencing the joy 6 months ago, and it's disappointing to me

I just don't have the investment I once had, and I'm not sure if they could get it back even if the show didn't seem to be drifting farther into territory I have no interest in. I'm sure the C2 will produce a lot of great wrestling, but also annoy me that the show isn't always this good

This could, of course, be a "me" problem, but I feel like the promotion just keeps doing things that make me less invested in their product. I'm glad people I like are making money, but that was how I spoke about WWE for the last decade before I finally gave up.

6 months ago Hangman won a match I thought he had no chance of winning, and in doing so gave me personal hope in a rough personal time. 6 months later he lost a match I assumed he was winning and I wasn't hurt or crushed, just surprised at the booking decision.
