Found you, Tay. Glad I don’t have to deal with Santa Ana winds anymore. Because of the Park Fire last summer, house insurance can’t drop me for a year. Gulp for 2026.

Golf in early December in Northern California! YES! Shirt sleeves. 73°. 14° above normal. I parred every hole that I didn’t lose a ball on. I lost 4 😉 I had a great day … then brews at Fall River Brewery in Redding. If you get a chance, give them a try.

Anyone catching a little weather on the West Coast? I’m thrilled my house is still on the ground and trees are intact. Survival of vegies in raised beds will be determined in the morning … when or if there is a pause in the weather.

Waiting for a week of rain to start in Nor Cal. Got below freezing for the first time last night. Whew, I had semi-tropicals covered in time or move Plumeria, passion vines, pineapple, sapote, cherimoya. The winter battle of plant survival begins. 😉

@acowallace.bsky.social I said goodbye to our 13 yo Memphis a couple of weeks ago. He is with his siblings, Hab, Brisa, and Tali under the dogwood tree in the backyard. Unless you’ve lived with a dog, you can never understand the connection humans have with canines. Miss you, Memphy.

Have any of you looked at properties outside the US? France looks pretty good to me. Once a property owner plus hoops and paperwork, nearly free healthcare after 90 days! If tRump f’s up Medicare, I might have to go with a $15k/month prescription bill.
