The argument that "fascists of the past were effective but made a strategic error by institutionally executing innocent minorities" is fatally flawed. Fascist policies inevitably lead to the institutional execution of innocent minorities. It's a natural consequence of the ideology.

IMMIGRANTS: The people responsible for your food, your medicine, your technology, maintaining your car, and building your house. In addition, they manicure the lawns of rich people.

Lies _sustain_ power. But in a sufficiently corrupt society, Truth becomes the only tool that can _create_ power.

It appears that the key to selling fascism is to make so many errors in the argument that the target audience is too exhausted to debunk all of them.

Zuckerberg caved to Trump and did to FB pretty much the same thing Musk did to Twitter, including staff cuts. It has created the same effect. FB is now a cesspool, and people are leaving the platform. Many have deleted their accounts, others have stopped using it. It will be another Ozymandias.

Justices Thomas, Gorsuch, Alito, and Kavanaugh are traitors and have seen fit, even in a losing effort, to advocate for the overthrow of the justice system at its very foundation. They need to be treated like what they are.

Design for a lamp. I think LEDs enable a whole lot of design ideas that weren't possible 20 years ago. Wood surfaces envisioned as goncalo alves. Horizontal glass surfaces milk glass. Upright glass surfaces clear opal glass (the kind with bubbles in it, aka Pulegoso).

Thought I'd get a picture of my shop because it's seldom this clean. Several projects currently in the works, but had to clean up in order to get anything done.

Charlie Brumfield's 70th birthday. Four guys in this picture are NOT Hall of Famers. One of those (Emmett Coe, far left) will be. One who never will be is the guy with the orange shoelaces.

Outdoor Racquetball National Championships, 2009, quarterfinal match. The red ball at the left being sighted in. Hard to imagine those knees going bad. ... My doubles partner for that match, Emmett Coe, has gone on to do great things in paddlebball. One of the best ever, and contender for GOAT.

Cabinet level positions have to divest. The muskrat would have to put his wealth into a blind trust.

Regarding the talk of Musk (who has been nominated for a position in the executive branch) to also serve as Speaker of the House. Article 1, Section 6 of the Constitution prohibits individuals from simultaneously holding positions in both the legislative and executive branches.

Muskrats are rodents with blunt heads, and long, hairless tails that help them prop up when standing on their hind feet. Their hind feet are webbed and their front feet have sharp claws claws for digging. They can be aggressive and are known for their bite.

Several years ago I was asked to work on a project for the US Navy. The hardest worker on the project was a dying man in a wheelchair with an oxygen bottle. He died before it was done. Just remember, whatever you think of the defense industry, some people in it believe it has great value for society
