They should have been quicker at making a plan for safe and legal routes, whilst promoting the benefits of immigration. But instead, they’re too busy trying to appeal to the right. They could also focus on bringing down bills: people would like that

I’m sure it’ll help their residents reduce their bills, drive growth, and all those other things councils prioritise. Or were there lying when they said they’d find efficiencies, and instead opted for unnecessary spending 🤔

What are reading, out of interest? Lessons aren’t engaging enough so kids are put off type stuff? Or kids have no attention type stuff? (To be clear, I support neither of these on the whole, but suspect there’s lots out there)

Yep - they’re fussing about flags and books because Farage says so. But on local issues, it feels beyond their reach. I’ll be interested what happens when real decisions need to be made like budgets etc

No to tax avoidance. Yes to a party with figures removed for using racial slurs, domestic violence, physical violence etc 🤦‍♂️
