I guess I develop on but not for windows so I've not had anywhere near as much drama! So far everything I want is arm64 native (except some odd tools like email clients which I don't really care about cause I have my phone)

I finally pulled the trigger on my "I'd get back into programming if I wasn't sat at the same desk" theory (also now I really don't want to not be around the baby). I also couldn't justify 1k on an intel chip - so I get an experimental arm chip, if nothing else it's just an easy laptop

But they've got you because the kind of nerd that would even think about using a non-default email client (outside of the browser) is also going to check whether or not its an arm64 build

Good running trainers fixed my knees fortunately 🤞 I will get back on this horse! But it's unlikely I'm keeping that score running this month!

I'm going to try and go for more runs - need to get over my fear of slightly damp weather :P not sure we have the space for any home equipment outside of weights... Which I have considered

I think we're in a negative feedback loop - if I do go to the gym my fitness levels are so low I need crazy recovery time, and I'm obviously not sleeping like I used to do that takes ages etc

I know you were all worried for me, but this week I managed a 6am gym session and just went for a run 6ish km run. Safe to say my fitness has fallen off a cliff, but I got my points!

Anyway this is boring but my old watch did a good job last night! I only wear my Garmin all the time because the data is useful, but if it bungles sleep then maybe I go back to wearing it during on-call/work outs only

But maybe that is a mistake since the day before was fine

Maybe I was a bit mean yesterday - this is the sleep data I got despite getting good sleep between 10pm and 7am. For some reason it dropped all the night sleeps

Garmin works a bit like this but last night it just ignored everything between 8-6am and then assumed I was only asleep for 40 mins 🤔 switched to my old watch and that worked much better

This must be the world's most least helpful table - both in data and layout
