Really enjoyed It Was Just an Accident. So balanced. It’s a movie about humanity at its best and worst, without being nihilistic or saccharine.

“If I Had Legs I’d Kick You” is the artsier cousin of “Nightbitch” (another grim story about motherhood that dips its toes into magical realism) but (with apologies to Amy Adams) Rose Byrne’s performance makes this movie so much more engaging.

F1 is fun and all, but there are simply TOO MANY CHARACTERS. I’m supposed to care about the two leads, the love interest, the mom, the team owner, the scheming board member AND a manager? Scrap three of those and just give us a proper villain!
