Sorry dude, I said I agree the decision the other day was wrong. Please stop accusing me of being this or that based on a few sentences here. It’s far more nuanced. I left Twitter to get away from this!

I don’t remember that one, apologies if I missed it. I just replied to a headline implying all decision were “misfortune”, wasn’t intended to be on receiving end of a pile on or accusations of being a certain type of fan. All clubs have had questionable decisions for or against them. Checking out 👋

It was also the only one that’s not a subjective error.

At no point did I say any of that 🤣 the world isn’t against Arsenal, there’s no conspiracy, and the decision at the weekend was wrong. Wolves have had the worst VAR mistakes, and I’m a #LFC fan and we’ve had some shockers too, inc the VAR bloke telling the wrong decision to the ref!

Rice & Trossard kicking the ball away, Saliba fouling the last man. Self inflicted, and confounded by conservative tactics.

How do you distinguish between “misfortunes” and something f you’ve just brought on yourself?

Quite impressive effort picking the 8th best player from the team at the top of the league.

“He’s not very good. Spence had him in his pocket apart from when he scored twice, assisted twice, set up another big chance and had an extra 5 shots”

Looks like a Line of Duty episode.

“We can’t get involved, but c’mon guys sort it out!”

Ha ha, yeah Kelleher is better than most keepers in the league! I think avoiding injuries is a combination of luck and good management (rotation, knowing when to play with lower intensity etc), but also just some players have higher availability. So guess it’s a calculated risk to not have backups.

Yeah, fair enough, those players would be bigger losses. So the Arsenal equivalents of the 4 I mentioned are Raya, Havertz, Timber and Merino?

"It’ll be interesting to see how they do handle injuries to key players if and when they do come" - or you could use the information that already exists, like when key players such as Alisson, Jota, Alexander-Arnold or Jones have had their injuries this season.

Was the 1 meant to be a 0?

This is one challenge we’re currently working on at We Are Human in partnership with 2050 in our #Alignment project. How do we Align our own realities with those around us to create progress?
November 16, 2024 at 10:54 AM
So, how do we meet people in the middle? Not critique their perspective formed from their own experiences and lose their interest, but instead understand where they’re coming from and meet them there to open up their minds?
November 16, 2024 at 10:54 AM
One of the discussions was around the idea that we all live in our own reality bubbles. We have discussions about what we believe are the same thing, but the reality is we’re approaching it from our own personal paradigm or dominant mental model.
