I just replied to a headline implying all decision were “misfortune”, wasn’t intended to be on receiving end of a pile on or accusations of being a certain type of fan. I think avoiding injuries is a combination of luck and good management (rotation, knowing when to play with lower intensity etc), but also just some players have higher availability. So guess it’s a calculated risk to not have backups.

Yeah, fair enough, those players would be bigger losses. So the Arsenal equivalents of the 4 I mentioned are Raya, Havertz, Timber and Merino?

"It’ll be interesting to see how they do handle injuries to key players if and when they do come" - or you could use the information that already exists, like when key players such as Alisson, Jota, Alexander-Arnold or Jones have had their injuries this season.
