A great year for gaming is coming to a close 🥰 my top 5 new things I played this year:

1. Metaphor: Refantazio
2. Silent Hill 2 Remake
3. Helldivers 2
4. Space Marine 2
5. FF7 Rebirth

Honourable mention to Balatro, I'm not a mobile gamer at all but I often can't put my phone down because of it 🃏

Juggling Silent Hill 2 and FF7 Rebirth has struck a beautiful balance.

When I get too scared or depressed playing SH I crawl lifelessly back to FF7.

When I get too happy and chirpy playing FF7, I beat myself back down to misery with SH.

Roadtrip last weekend with my navigator/spiritual compass, Chip.

#FF7rebirth is such a huge improvement over remake so far. I enjoyed Remake quite a bit but the exploration, depth of combat and variety of activities in Rebirth have all sunk their teeth in very early for me

I finally upgraded to an OLED monitor and boy oh boy what a difference it makes.

Diving into FF7 Rebirth to see what all the fuss is about and put this fancy screen through its paces...

Now to spend the next 80 hours trying to decide between graphics and performance mode 🥲

Toluca Prison in Silent Hill 2 is one of the most intense horror experiences in all of gaming

The 3D audio and radio crackle, the grinding synths, the sheer darkness, long corridors and high ceilings crawling with spider mannequins...

I love it and yet I can't wait to leave
