It works similarly on the fediverse side. You can follow the bridge account on the fediverse side and then bsky users can follow that account via an alias.

There is some fidelity loss as the platforms do things differently.

But replies and likes and such should work both directions.

As I understand it, if your account follows the bridge account on the bsky side, fediverse users can follow your account via a bridge alias. At that point the bridge will consume your posts and forward them to any AP servers that have subscribed (similar to the way other fediverse follows work).
