I genuinely think it’s because of the reduction (non-inflationary increase) in the license fee. They want to do what they’ve always done (UK TV, radio plus global radio and now streaming (inc. BBC World News). But no longer have the full resources to do so.

It was a lot… the cameo was a wonderful surprise… I gasped, stood up from the sofa in disbelief (likely exclaimed, “WHAT?!?”) and praised RTD!!
