Eco-zealot, cyclist, cat called Gideon, bushcraft, activism, that sort of stuff.
It's very yellow in the fields round me at the moment, but I'm seeing a lot of insects so hoping farmers aren't using insecticides and the birds can benefit! Also very dry and dusty, which is worrying for April.

Seems legit, and they don't even have to be that old. Trump, Putin, Netanyahu, Orban, Milei, Musk, Bezos, oil company CEOs, Murdock, Tate brothers, the list goes on and on. Funny thing, not many female leaders that behave the same. Maybe, just maybe we need to end patriarchy.

Time for Europe to come together firmly behind Ukraine, no matter what Trump and his bunch of toxic supporters say; they are bullies, unprofessional and childlike, except that’s an insult to children.

Slava Ukraini.

My letter in the Eastern Daily Press today. Happy they printed it all. We definitely need to be calling out Reform, toxic masculinity, the far right etc wherever possible. It's getting very dangerous; the othering, hating and attacking minority communities, division, rolling back human rights.

I mean, sure, it's all pretty grim at the moment with Trump, Musk, Putin, Milei, Netanhayu, basically lots of old white men trying to govern via autocracies and put us back decades, socially and culturally. But the sun is going to explode in 5 billion years so it doesn't really matter.

Spot on from @labourlewis.bsky.social on Reform. People are disillusioned and have had enough of most politicians who just don't represent our interests. However, Reform don't either, but they're good at connecting with the masses and blaming others for our problems.

Don't know about anyone else, but building a 'Riviera of the Middle East' on the blood of thousands of murdered Palestinians, whilst effectively ethnically cleansing the survivors from their homes, should be condemned in the strongest of terms. Hopefully it won't just be silence from MPs. #Gaza

I mean, I get there are a minority of dog owners that think someone else is gonna pick up their poo bags, but WTAF?! This is why cats are better, just saying.

Gideon has been very helpful tonight. In his own head anyway.

Had an argument with Gideon about who is cleverer, humans or cats. He won; claims humans think to much, just look at all the destruction, misery & death caused. He doesn't think, just does, simpler apparently. I pointed out the genocide of birds/ furry mammals, he said cats got nothing on humans 😼

Season's greetings from Gideon, who is hoping for a bigger egg box to sit in from Father Christmas 🎄😺🤷‍♂️

Did Christmas tree. Cat likes it. He is plotting its destruction. And demanding presents. Business as usual really.

My letter in the Eastern Daily Press today, on #ClimateBreakdown and being labelled as an alarmist if you're worried about the threats we face. If you haven't signed the petition I reference yet, here's the link, well worth it - petition.parliament.uk/petitions/70...

It’s cold outside, Norwich looking pretty fine from Mousehold Heath.

The far right including a lot of press & Reform MPs like Rupert Lowe (Gt Yarmouth), constantly stoke fear & violence against immigrants, blaming them for our woes. Yet when we want to send foreign aid to help farmers etc, which will hopefully reduce migration, they moan. 1920s/30s Germany anyone?

Autumn, my favourite season. Love it when it’s bright sunshine, but cold. And the trees, their leaves burning red and gold. Last sunflower still going, and Gideon likes basking is the sun, well yawning at it mostly.

Seems legit - 'It's settled...we agree to sign a pledge to hold another meeting to consider changing course at a date yet to be determined.'
November 17, 2024 at 11:34 AM
I feel like my first post on here should involve his lordship, Gideon, who has been enjoying the sunshine today in between naps.
