I had hoped that better days would come for Syria, this article was born of my belief that eventually this would happen, there’s still a long way to go but now there is the likelihood that prosecutions can happen within Syria and in international courts. Let us hope that the perpetrators receive/

Trying to write all three of these pieces as the pandemic hit was harrowing and I may never finish the other two but I’m glad one is done and I hope it has some utility in both spreading awareness and in helping in some small way to hold the many thousands of perpetrators of these crimes to account/
