Finished P4G today. A stunning achievement, but also a bit too gross for me to actually recommend to anyone without a longer conversation than I would like.

I worked at a video rental store in the early 2000s and its POS system ran on top of DR-DOS.
I am a computer programmer. I use the command line, I write shell scripts, I use all the keyboard shortcuts in my editor.
And yet: to this day, I have never found any software as fast to use as that POS.

Not only will I not beat Persona 4 Golden today, I didn't even get to a new day. I started on Jan 27 and ended on Jan 27.
But now I have 3 million yen and some stronger Personas. So at least that's something.

Not only will I not beat Persona 4 Golden today, I didn't even get to a new day. I started on Jan 27 and ended on Jan 27.

"I've only got a few short years on this earth and I am failing if I don't use that time to see the good ending in a 16 year old game" is not a good take.

I'm suddenly finding myself thinking things like "I _should_ go play more Persona" and feeling guilty that I'm not meeting my leisure-time objectives.
That can't be a good sign of a healthy relationship with either obligation or, you know, mortal time.
