As expected, UK was involved extensively behind the scenes. And Jonathan Powell was Tony Blair's fixer on Northern Ireland. So, for anybody decrying UK involvement in getting us to peace and the hostages home, just because Starmer doesn't shout does not mean he doesn't act. #PeaceSummit #Egypt

2. The patten of Spanish migration to the UK from 2000 - 2020, and it particular what happened in 2010 when the UK recovered from the financial crisis but the PIGS had not

You're welcome. Oh and I added Italy in as well, cause they too are desperate for a YMS scheme.

Recently bought the whole album on vinyl. I am chuckling as I listen imagining you all looking furtively around the walls for a ghost.

Social media is not real-life example #132456.

66% support Starmer's approach & only 14% oppose. 55% would like to rejoin the EU, with 35% opposed. 62% oppose a further loosening of ties & 49% vs 27% say the current EU-UK relationship needs change.

Happy St George's Day. Modern England is a diverse tapestry of people, culture and beliefs. We love tea, curry, complaining, queueing and many of us enjoy a good pint, though not all. What we all agree on, is we love our England teams, both the the 3 Lions and the Lionesses.

I very much read that as 'Good headline for Paris while Brussels and London quietly nod along and plan for May'

The white paper literally says this so yeah.

Guys, is Donald Trump, President of the United States, now in fact ... Swiss Tony?

Congratulations. You're now an honorary member of an exclusive club. That amazing time of year when every girl at University ... dresses like Han Solo.

But it's the UK that has a problem with free speech right JD Vance, you couch fiend.

Rather than being a prowler in DFS - proud of that joke - maybe have a word with the Clown as we all know 'illegal' is code for 'muh feelings'.

'How dare you consider us as immigrants; we are fellow europeans, inheritors of judeo-christian heritage. Access to the UK is our right'

Like its all right there in the EU Press Release from May 2024.

Reading. A virtue.

Look at this. The sheer level of entitlement from the EU towards what they expect from access to the UK is absolutely staggering. Its like the Daily Mail calling Brits in Dubai 'expats' as opposed to what they are: immigrants.

The EU wibble accounts on here have convinced themselves the UK is suddenly going to break ranks with Europe and side with the USA against Ukraine.

That would be political suicide for any UK government. Again, these idiots don't actually understand the UK despite their weird post-Brexit obsession
February 20, 2025 at 2:16 PM
Oh look, the phrase you hear from young right-wing politicos across the EU that means 'white people only' and is one of the reasons why, despite the economic impact, I think Brexit was culturally correct for a post-European country like the UK.

Literally, nothing turns me against the EU like it.
