BlueSky is ignoring Customer Retention.
When I first signed up I would spend hours on this site. Now, I only log on for a few minutes. The problem is the algorithms bury posts from new/small accounts.

No one will see this post as BlueSky's engagement is simply terrible. The Discover tab should be renamed "Top Posts" as it merely re-posts the same accounts over and over.
If BlueSky expects to contend with other platforms they need to create a page that truly "Discovers" small and large accounts.

Engagement on BlueSky is terrible. I mean absolutely awful. Don't get me wrong. I like the site, and enjoy many of the posts, but it appears only very large accounts receive views.
With this in mind I am going to unfollow any accounts over 1,000 followers.
See if that makes a difference in my feed.
