As a former kid who was amazing at math and socially delayed, the latter can mean any number of things, not all of them reflecting badly on the kid. The word "delay" assumes an allistic norm, that such kids will "catch up" and become "normal". The reality for many is adaptation to a cruel normative.

"Set to" = unverified prediction about the future. To benchmark these projections it would be good to see how projections made by a similar method from a decade ago fared.

Seeing through smokescreens like this may be why we need more data scientists (34% growth over a decade yay!).

Aggregate numbers over a decade exaggerate the appearance of growth. 50% increase wow! That's slightly moee than 4% growth per year, healthy enough but not a lot, especially for a narrow slice of the labor market. Any growth number under 22% for a decade is limping along at <2% annual growth.

Spirituality is not limited to religion. Religion works hard to falsely appropriate the mantle of the exclusive arbiter of spirituality.

Is it even worse than too much screen time?

When Mozart was my age, he had been dead for 26 years.

I think this is great - good on him. I have been fortunate to have the chance to reconcile with several HS nemeses (in one case now deceased so especially poignant).

I so love the books. Lloyd Alexander is a unsung hero of YA coming of age fantasy. His stories have so many descendants, largely unacknowledged.

I heard he called the album Zoso, which is even worse.

If you talk about your Auntie Diluvian you will get roasted for lying because she's actually your cousin once removed.

Six whole hours is totally slacking, do better!

True story: A friend of my dad once gave me success advice that I didn't really need a full sleep every night, rather I can spend that time getting ahead of the competition. I did not follow this advice, managed to survive despite this.

A difference maker: If the room has basic amenities for salad or similar food prep (or just bring along needed items) then no need for din out, just blissful quiet in the evening. [I used to travel for work a lot, and had to get good at avoiding the endless Big Consultant Dinners].

That was in the original text but got cut in edits.

Absolutely my experience with developers: 1) Post documentation 2) Not read 3) Schedule review 3a) Reminder to read it 4) Start review, nobody has read it 5) Walk thru each step 6) Answer to each question is RTFM but you lose points if you say that so paraphrase documentation ....

But there's still the whole causation vs correlation thing
