Joke of the week:
Melania: "I came to the USA on an Epstein visa!"
T-Rump: "No! Not Epstein! It was an Einstein visa! You know, the one reserved for Nobel Prize winners."
Melania: "Oh. Who's Einstein?"

That's some pretty squirrelly data, eh? Back in the day when I used to work on autonomous flying machines, we'd say that the vehicle had entered "terrain burrowing mode."

Not looking good. Shouldn't take but a minute to get a ping from the lander.

Yep. And I'm really rooting for these guys, but golly, they have a lot to learn about how to stream a landing attempt.

Where did you see the telemetry data? I'm really rooting for these guys, but golly their broadcast is pretty bogus.

That's pretty interesting. I've rarely found a one inch grape, though, and cumquats are a bit too oblong. Bottom line: Methinks AI systems need to add more fruits and vegetables to their diets.

I was working on a presentation to give to some kids/prospective engineering students - "How to Land on the Moon" - Wanted to make a scale model earth/moon using fruit - Decided to be lazy and have AI calculate the sizes/distances and look what happened :-o.
