Sure, but Muncy is on the back end of his career and his Steamer projection is for just under 2 WAR in 2026. A couple of years ago his ZIPs projection for 2026 was 1.1. If the front office thinks Murakami's bat is going to work, I don't think Muncy would be a roadblock. Curious to see what they do.

I'd hate to see him go, but I don't think Muncy's contract would stop the front office if they wanted Murakami. It's a pretty tradeable contract and even if it wasn't I think they'd pay it down to clear the roster space.
