A bit interested in politics but mainly interested in sport, especially cricket.
I’ve never rated Pope at 3. I think he could be a decent player at 5 or 6 but there’s no vacancy there, at the moment.

I was trying to remember who won it last year 🤣 if you don’t laugh, you’ll cry. Completely ludicrous!

Guys, can we get this right please? There is no such thing as the two child benefit cap! There is a 2 child limit for UC claimants, and there is a benefit cap. They are two separate and distinct things. The 2 child limit is going, I’ve seen nothing yet that says the benefit cap is.

Not sure you can say that. Certainly the spinner will have a supporting role but I think they’d have liked to have had Lyon when Archer was teeing off. 4 seamers should be enough.

Pink ball under lights. A more traditional English seamer might be the answer. Potts.

The first thing that struck me is the the benefit cap is still in there. This somewhat dilutes the removal of the 2 child limit for many households.

Can you confirm if the benefit cap remains in place? Unless I’ve missed something it does. This will severely limit the impact of removing the 2 child limit for many households.

I’m glad I’m not the only one thinking this. A lot of Labour MPs may get a shock when they realise many affected by the 2 child limit won’t actually be much better off when the cap kicks in. I wonder if this confusion is deliberate tactic from the Government.

Do we think the benefit cap is unchanged? If so removing the 2 child limit will have little impact for many.
November 26, 2025 at 8:13 PM
Can you confirm if this means also abolishing the benefit cap?
November 26, 2025 at 2:42 PM
Are we clear that means abolishing the benefit cap as well?
November 26, 2025 at 1:45 PM
Presumably that includes the Benefit Cap as well, as the effect will be limited if it doesn’t?
