I didn’t agree with everything OC had to say, but he gave a few points to consider. The audience, likely very liberal, seemed to enjoy the conversation. Discourse matters. When discourse dies bullets fly. I think many of us see a need for improvement. The technique is the issue.

31.4% of eligible voters picked the winner. Less than one-third. It’s easy to despair, but remind yourself that two-thirds of Americans did not chose this.

The late night comedians make fun of all politicians of any party. If you are an easy target it is because you are not using informed, evidence-based policy. Be best.

Wikipedia is about as straightforward as it can be. We all have biases. Humans contribute to the wiki. Through the push and pull we find a center of sorts. Facts don’t care about your feelings.
