This is a shocking hit piece on teachers. I hope that the rest of the projected coverage of Australian education is better than this, but I doubt it will be- teacher blaming is an ingrained habit in Australia, and not just in Murdoch rags either.

I find it hard not to look at The New Yorker Humor- it’s the same rubbernecking reflex that usually attends traffic accidents.
