I'm giving a try to Raging Bolt and Gardevoir right now and I like them both a lot.
I used to play Magic, but I was super casual into Commander and nothing else for like 3 years.

A lot of people have suggested Miraidon and Bolt, but Miraidon can sometimes play Mewtwo, so I think I'll look into it

That's something I might draw up once I have a better understanding of the game. For now I kind of just want to figure stuff out, you feel?

My local store is actually running a challenge next week that I planned on checking out for the experience. I'll 100% look at Tera Charizard since you're the 2nd to suggest it.

That's good to know about Lugia and Drago, my friend suggested that Lugia can carry new players pretty far so I'll have to keep it in mind.
They told me stage 2 decks might not be the best for newer players since it's harder, any advice on how to play it?
