Agreed.

I am an environmental scientist by trade, and the same applies to my work.

What he’s doing is called confirmation bias, and not only should he know that, but he should know better.

That’s Singals entire MO.

He identifies an idea that people are emotionally invested in and conducts disingenuous research. When called out for his bad behavior he invents a technicality insisting on the contrary. Hurting people along the way.

That has literally been his entire career.

How you say things is important.

Had he said “Are you sure it’s not fish people?” He would have ruled. But he didn’t, and now he’s a fool.

Important to mention that the senior law enforcement official didn’t actually read it himself per se, but rather was just projecting what he thought might make for an engaging episode of Ben Shapiro’s podcast tomorrow.

I think the editorial does a good job in laying out who is now “in control”.

The capital of Syria is now in control by a group who proverbially drives for both lyft and uber. The status quo for military operations won’t change, if anything it’ll probably get way worse.

For Imperialism, regime change in Syria isn’t about peoples self determination, it’s a change in business philosophy.

Propping up a regime is ugly and expensive. America and Russia are going with the Amazon model. Cheaper to pay someone with a car to do your bidding than prop up the infrastructure
