Followed up with an early evening rock pooling near our stay in East Lothian! Glorious time with the kids, doing something new for them. Mostly we saw small hermit crabs 🦀

Back in Edinburgh after too long away (last here in 2018!!!), but a chance to see the statue of one of the finest four legged soldier in the Polish Army in World War 2, Wojtek the bear and glorious views if #Edinburgh Castle.

It had been a long day (started at 5:45am) and we are wrapping up now, but what a day!
The Fresh Eyes on CMIP (@wcrp-cmip.org) threw a workshop across three continental hubs with science talks, panel discussions, practical sessions and networking. It was a crazy idea but hopefully a beneficial one
