I was so taken with the pilot script for Normal People I went online and bought the season’s worth.

I haven’t watched the show yet (I will after reading) but the pilot was the best script I’ve read in a while. Incredibly focused and clean and restrained.

This was a great read. I’d seen the Coen movie, which I found to be faithful, but it was still entertaining all the way, with the rich and distinct voice of Mattie.

It also executes a seemingly simple premise with great style. But then maybe there aren’t any simple premises, only rote tellings.

Just put out my first prototype play test for “The Shelter,” a narrative ambient survival game.

Tired from long hours, but very excited. In my experience, letting in some access to even a rough version is the best way to generate the energy necessary for revision.
