I like baseball, good food and drink, and the beach.
I also very much dislike living through a Sinclair Lewis novel at the present time in history
When they came in inflation wasn’t at an all time high.
It peaked in 2022, as we came out of a global pandemic (a worldwide issue whose trade off was avoiding a global depression).

By December 2024 it was back down to 2.9%.
It is currently 3.0%.

MBS probably let him bone saw a disabled child earlier or something.

Sounds like someone just listened to Lean on Sheena by The Bouncing Souls.

Question: WTF are boarder patrol agents in North Carolina wearing shemaghs/keffiyehs like they’re riding a gun truck in 2006 Anbar province?

His attacks on the ACA are kinda ironic. I understand that Americans have the memory of goldfish, but during his last term they made changes to the ACA which he claimed “fixed it”…then it got worst.

What kills me is:

1: this all was obvious to anyone with a brain and we were al screaming it from the rooftops

2: it hasn’t even been a year yet!

I mean, good for them for starting to put 2 and 2 together NOW, but JFC…

I mean, I’m glad some in the right are starting to draw a line at like child sexual abuse. I mean, that’s great and all…round of applause…but I kinda wish ya know…the bar wasn’t this low.
November 15, 2025 at 4:02 AM
Why d I get the feeling his next announcement is the ACA to be replaced with PayDay loans
November 11, 2025 at 1:54 PM
Oh ok. Fire at will then
November 10, 2025 at 1:32 AM
As far as I know neither of the VA senators are supporting it.

I mean, if either do, go for it, but let’s pick targets and not fire wildly

Again, this isn’t in Schumer. Schumer is against this already.

You need to call:

Sens. Angus King (Maine), Jeanne Shaheen (NH), and Maggie Hassan (NH).
November 10, 2025 at 1:21 AM
Not for nothing, but lot of you are calling out the wrong cats.
This isn’t a play by leadership. It’s a play by the “purple state renegades” so you need to be directing you calls to them ASAP:

Sens. Angus King (Maine), Jeanne Shaheen (NH), and Maggie Hassan (NH).
November 10, 2025 at 1:19 AM
I do as well, but New Hampshire is kinda a red state. It’s going to be tough to leverage them.
Got to basically just call anyone in a ‘purple’ district and hammer them, since nobody knows who the other defectors are yet
November 10, 2025 at 12:18 AM
To get them called out early though, the 3 dem senators that are trying to push it through are: Sens. Angus King (Maine), Jeanne Shaheen (NH), and Maggie Hassan (NH).

So New Hampshire and Maine leading the charge it seems
November 10, 2025 at 12:13 AM
The “tweet” says the leadership would vote against it.

Right now nothing has happened
November 9, 2025 at 11:59 PM
Not for nothing, but let’s save the doom for if it does happen. Thus far nothing has.

But it is a wake up to make sure your senator hears from you
November 9, 2025 at 11:58 PM
It does say the leadership is voting against it. So this assumes several renegade Dem senators.

That said, hasn’t happened yet
November 9, 2025 at 11:57 PM
Ok.
I’m being really serious here: has anyone asked him WTF he’s talking about?
November 9, 2025 at 9:24 PM
I can’t recall there ever being another president, even Bush W, where I spent even 1/5th the time listening to a proclamation they made and going: “WTF does that mean!”
November 9, 2025 at 6:50 PM
Communism is a stateless society with the abolition of private property.

Socialism is state ownership of private property, specifically the means of production.

What everyone actually means: liberal democracy with a strong social welfare system and progressive taxation.
November 9, 2025 at 6:11 PM
The problem with these discussions is NOBODY uses these term correctly.
November 9, 2025 at 6:11 PM
We’ve definitely resigned to if ever buying going to the burbs. Not too bad honestly, as the Westchester cities are nice, and there’s decent transit.
Even then though, still talking between 600k-800k, unless go all the way up to Peekskill.
