Did you find it weird, that Anthony Taylor decided to dish out 6 yellow cards from 13 fouls, when prior to this match, we had received only 12 yellow cards, in 12 games? The majority of cards, to our defensive players, all in the first half? Why?

Thought that at the time. The one chance where he could have an effort on goal; he chose to go down. Some things never change. The guy, 'spits when he talks'... Was never Arsenal material.

Yep, when I think back. I can barely remember him missing the target ever. Contested headers, maybe. But after that?
November 7, 2025 at 8:00 AM
Of course he meant it. Clear penalty.

He had his hand there for one reason and one reason only. To block the ball going towards the net. He thought he'd be clever and got caught out.

If it were an Arsenal player, I'd be asking why my defender had his arm in the air like that. This should be a penalty every day of the week.

Clear pen. His hand was in a completely unnatural position. He made himself bigger and stopped the ball going towards the net. You could even argue he moved his hand into the path of the ball. He knew exactly what he was at.

Maybe Liverpool should play four centre backs?

Listen on the arsenal app

Yes and especially when you see their fellow professionals giving them a little shove too, toward these dangerous pitch surroundings.

In the age of VAR, these pushes should be punished with a red card for endangering your opponent. Hopefully something will be implemented.

It is funny. I've literally stopped reading their newspapers and following their pundits, because of all the shite and bile they spout.

You would think that the media would have realised by now, that this isn't the path to go down.

My favourite was when one of our defenders was cleared of his feet, just after going up one nil, in our box and the ref waved advantage as if he was doing us a favour. We have the ball away and they had a chance and then a corner. Blatant nonsense.

Even if he gets Sterling's minutes, we will have improved 100%
August 12, 2025 at 6:53 PM
And we still have Jesus to come back before Christmas too. Can he also take minutes at left and right wing, as he did at City too?

See also the forewarning from James that Arteta was going to be gone after. Seems that agendas have been decided for us.
August 12, 2025 at 3:13 PM
Both were scored in the same game against West Ham, both when Arsenal were two goals ahead. So neither were a match-defining penalty.
There were then, 37 other league games where Arsenal generally had more possession in and around the opposition box and didn't get a penalty. Really unfortunate. 🤨
June 4, 2025 at 10:59 AM
Yes. They were able to get out easy by passing along their backline, play the ball up the wing, then back inside and into Dembele who came very short in the centre. I don't think Saliba wanted to follow him into that space. After, it was like Saliba was man marking at times, following him everywhere

Maybe Arteta was tight. The ball appeared to curl the wrong way.
April 26, 2025 at 5:40 PM
A few years back, Struijk's scissor against Elliot wasn't even given as a free kick. VAR intervened due to injury and gave him a red card. I can kind of understand that as Struijk got the ball and maybe wasn't clear. Norgaard launched himself at Martinelli. Referees and VAR are not fit for purpose.
April 13, 2025 at 9:20 AM
It is so obvious. I have noticed that they barely show replays if Arsenal are wronged, whether that be free kicks, corners, throw ins, or off-the-ball incidents. Other media darlings, you have multiple replays from multiple angles, complaints for days.
I cannot help but think that they are complicit
April 13, 2025 at 9:07 AM
Never mind what that prick says.
April 8, 2025 at 10:47 PM
Yeah deffo another Arshavin moment
April 8, 2025 at 10:46 PM
His foot was on Bellingham's calf. I think Bellingham actually pushed his calf back into MLS's foot.
April 8, 2025 at 10:28 PM
Not to diss MLS because he is great, but Martinelli put in such a shift tonight. Never stopped. Played like a wing back at times.
April 8, 2025 at 10:25 PM
Hopefully we'll see the benefits next season too, playing that advanced midfield role. What a goal.
