Authors, remember that you CAN insist on human translation for your foreign-language editions and have it written into your contracts. You can no longer just assume you're going to get a human to work on the book whose every word you wrote with intent.

(Copy-)editing machine translated texts takes much longer than in the case of texts produced by humans, however poor their English. They have a kind of bland plausibility that seduces the inattentive mind.

But unless it takes radical, systemic action to diminish the status of housing as a speculative asset even large-scale house building wont do much good. Supply is local but demand is global.

Never mind Starmer, Blue (as in asphyxiated) Labour needs to be excised from the party in the same way as the possibly less damaging Militant Tendency was. They are alt right lite.

Except that barely 20% of living Britons voted for the Brexit scam. It is our home but we were ripped out of it.
