So, I've taken to writing our representatives...it's very cathartic. I highly suggest it. My suggestions are in the comments:

As of right now, I'm a registered Independant for the first time in my life. Republicans will NEVER have my vote, and Democrats need to earn it. Mostly though, I wanted to send a clear message to the Democrats: You are losing everything. Elections, party members, and our faith. Do better.

Honestly...what our Democratic representatives need to be doing is treating their off time like it's election sseason. Get angry with a crowd. Decry the fascist takeover by oligarchs. Empathize with our pain and MOBILIZE US. The meek "we don't have power" line is getting stale. We are power.
