It was a nice day for my work walk, though likely gonna be a washout later and for the rest of the week. Gotta take what you can get at this time of year!

Chest workout complete. Managed to get up to the sixth set of ten on bench press with 10 reps. Improving with doing dips afterwards, too.

Leg day done. I got the full 10 x 10 back squats with 60kg, so next week I'll be increasing it. Romanian deadlifts improved, too, but they were a killer after squatting so much!

Assisted pull-ups complete, 10 x 10. I'm adding more reps. Got 4 sets of 10, 4 of 7, and 2 of 6. Hoping if I keep this up that I'll be able to do unassisted pull-ups with these numbers next year.

Forgot to post my workout pics from the last two days. Still doing well with the 10 x 10 system, and I got more reps in with the military press and bent over rows.

Fables of Flower by @norab84.bsky.social is a fantastic collection of short stories, chronicling the life of Flower, a down-on-his-luck gig worker who gets caught up in missteps and adventures, both magical and mundane. He's a relatable character in a fantasy world. I highly recommend it!

Chest day complete 10 x 10 bench press and dips. Got up to set 4 on bench press before I had to drop down reps. I improved on dips, but only got up to 8 sets before I couldn't push out another rep.

Some pictures from my work walks. It's definitely changed from my walks from before my workplace's shutdown. The weather is definitely not as conducive to it!

Forgot to post my gym pic again from yesterday, so here it is and today's. Did 10 x 10 assisted pull-ups yesterday, and we reps ticked up. Today, I did 10 x 10 squats and Romanian deadlifts. Legs and back were like jelly after it, so they should feel great the next few days!

The God Sun by @alankdell.bsky.social is a tense and disturbing sci-fi horror that I found reminiscent of the movie, Event Horizon. I really enjoyed this addition to the Augment Saga, and now I'm left wondering how this is going to tie in! If you're looking for a Halloween read, highly recommend it!

Did my 10 x 10 barbell rows, and I actually upped the weight to 35kg from 30 because it was too easy last week. Still got the full 10 x 10, so might up it again.

If you've haven't read these books, I highly recommend them. "All That's Left in the World" and its sequel "The Only Light Left Burning" by @erikjbrown.bsky.social are an engrossing tale of two teenage boys in post-apocalyptic America, trying to survive but also finding each other.
10/10!

Forgot to post my gym pic after my shoulder workout yesterday. 10 x 10 military press attempted. Got to the fifth set before slipping down from 10 reps. An improvement over last week.
