Your post reminded me what was in the last box of stuff my mum sent over to me. I listened to these so many times when I was little.

Visiting my parents in NZ and I just found my old minidisc player. It still works on external power. From the disc binder it looks like I last used it in 2003.

I spent a good portion of 2024 working on season 2 of Silo at ILM. I'm most proud of the work I did on the FX simulations for the paper helicopter sequence. The shots are a mix of full CG helis or a blend of practical & CG. As a fan of the first season it was a joy to work on.

The ties popping in. I never saw it until someone told me. The optical comp of this must have had so many layers.

I just stuck an android based head unit in my 2015 Jeep wrangler. Having carplay in it for the first time has been so nice. I was pretty dubious seeing the whole thing cost less than a steering wheel control module for an alpine but it works great.

District 9 was one of the first films I worked on. I was a Jr FX Artist at Image Engine and one of the highlights was getting to do the fluid sim for the peeing alien. This shot is still on my reel to this day. I'm really proud of the work we did at Image Engine bringing the aliens to life.

Cheeto isn't much help for getting work done.
