Sheffield, UK but born in Speke. Evertonian, STH 1968/69! The world is a dark place trying to brighten it up with a wide variety of tastes, art, music and creative stuff.
That such an embarrassing document could be circulated for comment says how low the US has fallen.

#LauraK this morning seemed oblivious to the #BBC that there had been a Covid Enquiry report.

I watched #LauraK this morning didn’t catch it all but did they mention the Covid enquiry?

Rayner appeals as a straight talker but the Tory media would be on her case with a vengeance. Burnham is a good mayor and great communicator but he’s been out of Parliament a long time. Streeting and the rest are too closely linked to Starmer. Labour needs a complete reset Starmer has damaged it.

As a member I am appalled at both delivery and policy by Starmer & Reeves. Both are terrible communicators. The attempt to outdo Reform takes Labour to places it should never be. However, the forces arranged against any Labour leader from the right make it almost impossible to make a case.

I was brought up in Speke so we often walked down to Oglet shore. When they built the new runway around 1966 occasionally a big jet might be diverted such as a Boeing 707 Aer Lingus was typical & standing on Dungeons Lane you got the full take off experience with 4 engines blasting off!

The whole deal depends on whether Walmart will sign up as blue chip tenant in a down town mall in Omsk….

Is that JLA Dungeons Lane?

European leaders must tell Trump what they think of his ‘peace deal’ which effectively surrenders Ukrainian sovereignty and puts the rest of Europe at risk of a Russian invasion.

I always rated him although not all our fans did was it £15m? That seems a long time ago. He played his best football under Moyes.

Well it maintains the status quo for instance if #MUFC actually built a 100,000 seater stadium……. But then I haven’t read the small print. I keep seeing Anfield getting 2026 concerts at what point given its proximity to the city centre does HD start taking that business?

Instead of facing reality they are fighting the wrong war. Unfortunately Starmer having denied Brexit now apes Reform choosing immigration.

7 to think we swapped Johnson for Rod Belfit!

It would also confirm that personal grift is a major factor for a US president. Peace at any price so he gets a Nobel peace prize but also what financial deals could involve Russian re-emergence as a country of financial opportunity .

I am a Sheffield Tribune member but follow the Post as I’m from Liverpool & often would read articles so yes I see the value of cross-membership.

A suggestion that the writer has problems with reality and truth.

He always takes the side of the rich and powerful because he admires their willingness to do things no decent leader would contemplate. He laughs in the face of his followers.

Excellent bitterness. Bizarrely Greece & Denmark having totally outplayed Scotland conceded 7 goals against a team without half-decent strikers! Even their own fans thought they were rubbish before Tuesday night. In the heat of the US expect massive disappointment!
November 20, 2025 at 11:47 AM
This has the hallmarks of political opportunity not meeting economic reality!
November 20, 2025 at 11:34 AM
Bizarrely two games I missed in that era were this one and Leicester 7-1 68/69!
