2025nov11 after i went blind i was chopping stuff up with my compound miter saw (so dumpster divers wouldn't want it) not being able to see where my hand was relative to the blade i nearly cut it in two. irreparable damage could have been so much worse. threw away the miter saw the next day.

you can't tell from the pic, but, i'm 98% blind in my right eye and 15% diminished in my left. surgery is tuesday, feb 17 in wichita. a trip by foot, train and bus that will surely prove to be a nightmare. and, i've been forced to accept that i have no friends (to help)
